| Arturo's Studio Arturo DiModica's first New York studio stands at 54 Crosby Street, in SoHo, in Lower Manhattan. Arturo found a garbage strewn lot which came to his attention soon after he arrived from Italy in the 1970s. With his own hands and his own labor he transformed it into an impressive building, his studio where he worked and lived. Here many of Arturo's works of sculpture were created including his most famous "Charging Bull" in the Fall of 1989. Today Arturo has relocated to a new studio nearby and is currently expanding there. In Vittoria, Italy, Arturo's home town, on a large plot of land which he owns he is constructing another elaborate studio for himself and students from around the world who will travel there to learn the art of sculpture from the master himself. The complex will also include a gallery, restaurant and gardens for visitors to enjoy.
